![]() ![]() ![]() Strong wind, Whale shark and masquerade party in Dahab I just came home to Sweden after spending almost 2 months in Dahab, Egypt. It has been a great time with lots of sailing and lots of fun. I have used 3.4-4.7 and both the Skate99 and freewave86. I have experienced the windiest day in my life, completely overpowered with 3.4 + freewave86 and could barely sail straight forward and hold the sail. But a fun day!!! Another funny experience was about a week ago when we where going snorkelling on a non-windy day. After about ten minutes the man on the boat started to scream "SHARK" and tried to get us back to the boat. I looked up from the water and could see a fin a couple of meters away and I can make sure I was swimming back to the boat really fast. Once in the boat we could see it was NOT a dangerous one. It was a 5 meter Whale shark!!! Very rare, and soooo beautiful. I want to say big thanks to the Club Dahab staff (www.clubvass.com/club_dahab) who are the best ones, I had so much fun thanks to you guys! /Emma Johansson S-37 posted by EmmaJohansson at 5/09/2007 07:38:00 PM |
